Dear Tammy,

My name's Robin Moore and I play in a band w/Jeff Young. Yesterday a.m. he got in our big ol' van, guitar in hand, as we all carpooled to the Final Four event we were to play at. He proceeded to tell us all about Gary's passing and a bit about the Leukemia and battle Gary waged on it. I want you to know that you and yours have my heartfelt, sincere sympathy. Two weeks ago I lost my Dad to prostate cancer, and 15-yrs ago, a toddler-son to complications while waiting for liver transplant.

Please keep the blog'sphere' apprised of any needs you or your kids might have.

God's peace that passes understanding be with you,
Robin Moore

Dear Tammy, Hannah, Craig, and Soctty,

Please except our deepest condolences regarding the loss of your husband, father and friend. We are all praying for you and know that God works in ways we cannot comprehend, but, we believe that he is in a better place and at peace.

If there is anything that we can do to help, we are right next door, please feel free to call on us for support. As you may be aware, we are all in California and will not be able to attend the services for Gary, our prays and thoughts are with all of you all at this very difficult time.

George, Cheryl, Kevin, and Kelly

We wish the strength to endure this most challengeing time. We did not know you all very well but we know what a great family you are. We got to know Craig from soccer and what a fine young man he is. You have both raised such great kids. May you be at peace with Gary's passing, knowing he is not suffering any longer. Love, Jenni, John, Christopher, Adam, and Drew Armstrong

Dear Tammy, Craig, Scotty, and Hannah,
Cory texted Kirk on Saturday night to tell him about your Dad loosing his battle with Leukemia. Both Kirk and I just sat at his computer reading Scotty's blog and cried.

Your Dad was a great person and Kirk will always remember the times your Dad drove him around to soccer. We enjoyed all our soccer adventures with your family and will always remember what a great support your Dad was to Kirk when he first joined Craig's Jags team.

Unfortunately we can not be in Novi on Wednesday to attend your Dad's memorial service but please know our thoughts and prayers will be with you all.
With love,
Christie, Dave, and Kirk Santure

Dear Tammy, Scott, Craig, and Hanna,
We are very sorry for your loss. My sons and I read the note from Scott and it brought tears to our eyes. Although we do not know one another, it is obvious you are an amazing family. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. As your father said, be strong... may God bless you with the strength you need.
